The management of Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH is looking forward to getting in touch with world-class technology Start-ups in the field of Enabling Technologies at the Bosch Venture Forum on 20 and 21 September 2011 in Stuttgart, Germany.

The forum brings together innovative, European technology Start-ups with experts from Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH (RBVC) and business development, innovation and research departments of Robert Bosch GmbH. The objective of the forum is to facilitate potential strategic investments, development cooperation, licensing agreements and customer-supplier-relationships. Thus the Bosch Venture Forum is an excellent opportunity to gain the Bosch Group as investor, partner or customer.

If you are a director of a ambitious, European technology Start-up offering products, solutions and/or services in line with RBVC’s technology focus fields, we encourage you to apply online for the opportunity to present at the upcoming Bosch Venture Forum and have an in-person discussion with Bosch representatives.

Invited participants are required to attend both days of the event. The afternoon of the first day, 20 September 2011, will provide participants with presentation training from a proven expert. This is then followed by a dinner in the evening with RBVC and Bosch representatives, providing the opportunity for informal discussions and networking.

Presentations and meetings will take place the following day, 21 September 2011, at the Bosch “Haus Heidehof” in Stuttgart, Germany.

Tech ventures selected by RBVC’s management are invited to join the Bosch Venture Forum in Stuttgart free of charge. You only need to cover the cost of your travel and accommodation


 

We encourage ambitious, European technology Start-ups that offer products, solutions and/or services in line with the following technology demands to apply to present at the Bosch Venture Forum.

Enabling Technologies
  • Wireless technologies
  • Network communication
  • Signal processing and Interpretation
  • Human-Machine-Interface (HMI)
  • Machine to Machine Communication (M2M)
  • Internet of Things (incl. Sensors and Actuators)
  • Software technology

The Start-ups invited to the Bosch Venture Forum should fulfill the following minimum requirements:

 

  • You offer an excellent innovation in terms of technology and/or business model.
  • You can demonstrate technical maturity in form of a functioning prototype.
  • Your management team has a high level of technical know-how, market expertise and leadership experience.
  • You are already in business contact with partners and customers; ideally you have already contracts with important customers, have carried out products trials with different and customers, etc.
  • You expect to generate sales revenues in the near future and have realistic above-average growth expectations.

Here we will ask you to submit your contact details as well as a detailed description of your products, solutions and/or services and the underlying technology or business model in English. Please also specify how you envision cooperation or synergies with the Bosch Group.

    Please note: that applications for Bosch Venture Forum will only be accepted until 01 July 2011

    Registration                                                                                                                                                            A RBVC committee will review your application, select the most suitable companies and invite them to meet at the Bosch Venture Forum. In case your company is selected, you will receive a direct invitation by 25 July 2011 at the latest, inviting you to register bindingly for the event.

    Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC) advises you that it will not enter a non-disclosure agreement during the first application satge (step 1: Application). Any written or oral information of any kind that Munich Network - Netzwerk München e.V. receives from you will be regarded as general knowledge in public property and will therefore without any restrictions be forwarded to and used by RBVC. In your own interest we recommend at that stage not to send any secret or confidential information in your intital application.

    In the case that Robert Bosch Venture Capital would be interested in receiving more detailed information regarding your innovation as part of the second application stage (step 2: Registration) you will have the possibility to stipulate a written non-disclosure agreement. The personal and corporate information you submit when applying or registering will be collected by Munich Network - Netzwerk München e.V. and will be exclusively used for the purpose of organizing the Robert Bosch Venture Capital event Bosch Venture Forum on 20 and 21 September 2011. Except for Rober Bosch Venture Capital, your data will not be forwarded on to third parties.
     
    After the closure of the event Munich Network - Netzwerk München e.V. wil irrevocably delete the data.
