Markus is responsible for RBVC's commercial fund and direct investment strategy, its commercial operations, as well as reporting into Bosch group management. For more than 20 years of his professional career, he has learned to quickly identify an organisation’s competitive position and its critical operational requirements, is passionate about people management, setting clear goals and intense, hands-on follow-through. Prior to co-founding RBVC, he worked as Vice President of Bosch's global corporate strategy department both on strategies for existing as well as for new business areas of Bosch. Before joining Bosch, Markus was a senior manager in leading strategy consulting firms, heading and implementing projects on strategic and operational issues as well as M&A around the globe. His clients encompassed Global Fortune 500, mid-caps, and start-up companies as well as private equity and venture capital firms. Markus holds university degrees in mathematics and physics, including a doctorate (summa cum laude) from Université de Paris (France), obtained with research work on statistical physics of disordered systems in Paris and AT&T Bell Labs (Murray Hill, NJ). He is fluent in English, German, and French and has a good working knowledge of several other European languages.
Baha Berse is manager for Finance & Controlling and Fund Administration of RBVC. He is responsible for all fund- and direct investment-related financial affairs after closing and supports all investments from due diligence until exit whilst optimising commercial processes and tools. He is the link between RBVC and Bosch’s corporate departments regarding financial, controlling, and administration matters. Prior to joining RBVC, Baha worked in various divisions of the Bosch Group (Automotive Electronics, Car Multimedia, Chassis System Brakes) worldwide gaining significant expertise in controlling (from sales, through projects, plant management, SAP implementation, to reporting and consolidation). Baha holds a degree in business administration (Dipl.-Kfm. (FH)) and business informatics with distinction (Dipl.-Wirtschaftsinf. (FH)) from the University of Applied Science Hanover (Germany). He is fluent in German, English, and Portuguese and has a basic knowledge of French, Turkish and Spanish.
Jan is involved in all phases of the investment process from preliminary evaluation to assisting management during the investment period. Prior to this position he was responsible for Bosch Corporate Strategy in the Asia Pacific region, based in Shanghai. He gathered extensive experience in strategy consulting before joining the Bosch Group. Jan holds a joint master degree in engineering and business administration (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany and is a CFA charterholder. He is fluent in German, English, and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Mandarin.
Susanne is involved in all phases of the investment process from preliminary evaluation to assisting management during the investment period. She has been with Bosch group since 1999 and gathered expertise in diverse business units in automotive, as well as, industrial automation. Prior to this position she worked for Corporate Strategy in the Robert Bosch headquarter, based in Stuttgart. Susanne holds a Diploma degree in Physics from the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technical University Aachen and attended the Business MBA Program at the San Jose State University. She is fluent in German, English, and has a basic knowledge of Korean.
Ke is involved in all phases of the investment process, both regarding direct as well as fund investments. He is also spearheading RBVC’s China strategy development and China-related activities. Prior to joining RBVC, he was responsible for Bosch Corporate Strategy in the Asia Pacific region, based in Shanghai. He obtained broad experience in business development and M&A activities in various industries and throughout Asia Pacific. Ke holds an MBA from University of Bath, UK and a BA in English language and literature. He is fluent in Chinese and English, and has a basic knowledge of German.
Susan Cizlaoglu is an assistant in the Frankfurt office and responsible for Travel Management.
Laxmi Eagala supports RBVC with various administrative and organisational tasks. Prior to joining RBVC in 2010, Laxmi gained extensive experience as an executive assistant in various industries. She is fluent in German, English, and Hindi.
